Peppol is a European network along which invoices travel directly from one accounting package to another. Not a pdf in a mailbox, but a structured file that your client's software can read straight away.
Since 1 January 2026 this is mandatory for every Belgian VAT-registered business that invoices other businesses. Towards public authorities the rule has applied for longer. If you work exclusively for private customers, it does not apply to your outgoing invoices.
The tolerance period of early 2026 has now passed. Anyone not yet compliant risks a fine of up to 5,000 euros.

I do not invoice through Peppol yet. What now?
Then we first get you in order. We register you on the network, check that your invoices contain the right data and test together whether sending and receiving work. You do not have to figure it out yourself.
Do I have to choose between Yuki and Lucy myself?
No. We look at how you invoice today, which software you use and how much you want to follow up yourself. Then we suggest one.
Do I have to replace my invoicing software?
Not necessarily. Lucy works alongside your existing software and forwards your invoices to the bookkeeping. If Yuki fits better, we first look at which data we can take over.
Can I view my figures myself?
With Yuki you track your documents, outstanding invoices and results digitally. What exactly you see, we agree in advance.
Can I still reach Finexpert with questions?
Absolutely. The software takes over work, not people. For questions about your documents, your figures or practical arrangements, you simply call your account manager.
